Direct answer

Submit a game only if people can download it at no price and you can name the license. Paid games and “license later” builds are not a fit.

How this page was checked

  • Submissions go through the developer form into the review queue.
  • A public game page appears after the record is in the catalog, not the moment you click submit.
  • We display the license you provide. We do not invent a more permissive one.

Download analytics exist only for files this site hosts, and only after the game is published.

Our call

Apply when you can attach a build or a source repository and a license name. Use the dashboard only after you have an approved developer account.

Do not apply if you want us to strip a commercial license or host a launcher that sells keys.

The queue is our own submission table. It is not a third-party store dashboard.

Players will talk about your game in the forums if they choose to. We do not write those posts for them.

Edge cases this page will not skip

  • A source-only game can be listed, but the page must say there is no hosted build.
  • A Windows build is not automatically a Linux build.
  • A rejected submission stays off the public catalog.
Original diagram: open the catalog record, read the license, then download a hosted file or follow the source link.

Submit a free game, and name the license

We list it after review if people can download it at no price and you can say which license applies. Paid games and “license later” builds are not a fit.

What players can see

After the game is public, the page can show the hosted download and member ratings. We do not invent a play-time statistic.
